Roof Installation for 2010 Crew Roof

 With the Changes of the 2010 Ranger Roll bars the mounting of the roofs have changed. Where before there were pre drilled holes in the roof for mounting these holes will no longer match up so there will have to be Six (6) new 3/8 holes drilled on the roof till new model roofs can be prouduce.

1. You will lay the roof on the top of the roll bar with the rear section first with it moved all the way forward with the roof rear angle snug against the rear of the roll bar. You will then set the front section of the roof on with the lips of both roofs interlocked.

2. Now you locate the holes in roll bar and mark those holes in the rear , mid section, and front to be drilled.

3. Drill the holes at your marked spots useing a 3/8" drill bit .

4. After drilling the new holes you will set the rear section of the roof on top of the roll bar and start your bolts in the rear first and then the mid section of the roof (or the front part of the rear section of the roof ) . The rear bolts will be 3/8 " x 1" and the mid section bolts will be 3/8" x 4" bolt with washers.

5. After these 4 bolts are in and nuts started tighten the rear bolts first and the mid bolts next.

6. Now you set the front section of the roof on the roll bar with the lips on the front section and the rear section interlocked together. Insert the front bolts 3/8" x 3" into the front holes and down thru the angle brace of the front section of the roll bar and start the nuts.

8.  Move the front section of the roof as far forward till the lips in both roofs are snug. Now tighten the front 2 bolts.

Installation of the Ranger 2010 XP single cab roof. will be the same as the Crew Roof with the exception that there is only one roof but you will still mount the rear of the roof the same as the crew and the front section the same as the crew. Bothe the front and rear sections of the crew and the xp are the same.
