The Air Ride ShockWave

Since its introduction in 1999, the ShockWave has proven to be the most significant development in air suspensions… ever! Shockwaves have been manufactured for cars and trucks. Now we have a kit for your 09-10 Ranger Crew.

ShockWaves provide a simple, high-tech way to provide the ultimate adjustable suspension design. The ShockWave mounts just like a coilover and replaces the coil-spring with an adjustable air spring for a huge range of tuning options. Its basic construction design consists of a shock surrounded by an air spring with mounts below and above the unit. This allows for an easy bolt on installation. The Shockwaves are built with quality rubber and are built to last. The ATV ShockWaves come with aluminum Air Cans that further protects from rocks and shrapnel.

We have two types of ShockWaves available for ATVs & UTS: the economical Black Series and the highly adjustable master series. Each have their applications:

Do you need the Master Series adjustable shocks?

Since the shock absorber is really what controls how the suspension works, it plays a big role. Whether you’re running in a straight line or going around corners, it’s all about traction: traction going forward; traction going sideways. The requirements are different, but a shock that offers variable valving plus a wide range of travel can work effectively in both applications. A nonadjustable shock, out of the box, may not have the optimal damping for your ATV. It’s like guessing a lottery number: There are too many variables, from horsepower to wheel and tire design to individual driving style. Get an adjustable shock and tune it until it delivers the performance and/or ride quality that you want — then continue experimenting whenever trail or road conditions change.

A double-adjustable(“DA”) shock sets both rebound and bump (compression), truly independently. DA is a no-brainer; it’s a phenomenal tuning aid for the price. The only drawback is the work involved, but it pays off in performance.

Another new product will be our Lone Star Outdoor brand of LED lights for your ATV, UTV, jeep, pick up, or game feeder. With low draw amp's and high lumens, these LEDs will light up the dark in an impressive way that very few lights can match. They will be available in Standard Clear and Green. Upon request, we can also make our lights with a Red or Blue LED for your special needs.

We are excited about our green lights. With product testing and research, we have found that the green light is easy on the eyes, has an above standard visibility distance, and wildlife eyes stand out better than when using the Clear or Red LED's. For the Varmit Hunter, the Green light will make you sit up and take a second look at how you have been hunting.

Lone Star Outdoor will also be offering an LED Flashlight that can be used in many different applications. This single flashlight model can be mounted to your rifle with a simple strap, or to your bow or your hunting hat. This unique flashlight eliminates the need to carry three different lights. Lone Star Outdoor has been manufacturing and distributing a series of Hunting and Resting Seats for use in Polaris Rangers, Kawasaki Mules, Club Cars, John Deere Gators, Cub Cadets, Kabota RTV and other UTVs for the last 5 years. In 2009 we added a few new products such as Roofs and Gun Racks to our product line. For 2010, you will see more hunting accessories from LSO.

With our custom Water Transfer Printing facility we are able to apply camouflauge patterns to a variety of different items that you wish to add a new or different look to. We are not limited to just camo. We can also apply wood grains, carbon fiber or many other different patterns.
